retires tomorrow!!!

I sent him off with a thermos of coffee, a breakfast bar, a sandwich (turkey breast and Canadian bacon with Swiss), low-fat chips, a bosc pear, a naval orange, blueberry yogurt and two Omega 3's.

Teaching high school is tough work and decent food has to help.

My days as a lonely house-husband are over! He'll be home full time and my life will be VERY different. I'll see all of you when I can, but I imagine I'll be spending a lot less time around here and more time doing things that make our lives better (working on the house, garden, etc).

2. Oh, my goodness!
Good vibes that your relationship weathers this transition, Rowdyboy. When my dad retired , he drove my mother so crazy with "little projects" that they agreed it would be in everyone's best interest if he went back to work, which he did after about three months.

Seriously, I hope ya'll have some fun together. Congratulations to your partner!

4. We're extremely compatible so I don't look for any problems.....
He's already committed to taking the H&R Block tax program next fall and he'll do taxes from January-mid-April. Then we'll have the rest of the year to ourselves.

We already have three trips planned. Next month we're going to Little Rock to hear Bill Clinton speak at a dinner honoring Gert Clark. In August we're going to San Antonio for the International Gay Rodeo.
Then we plan to be in DC the week before the election.

Life is definitely gonna be interesting!

6. Ya'll blow a kiss to my home state
(Oklahoma) when you pass through, OK? And you're gonna be in Arkansas during a beautiful time of the year. I envy you guys! :hi:
