2. Well, he did get the tattoo I told him would be "hot," and....stuff.....

4. I started wearing bifocals when I was eight
In fact, I taught my parents how to wear them! Then, at age 24, I developed astigmatism and didn't need them anymore.

10. Tell him to get progressive lenses
They have no lines; they're easy to get used to; and they won't make your husband look twice his age :)

Or, you can suggest he get bifocal contacts.

The glasses industry is just trying to avoid the word liberal and all of the negative imagery that it now conjures up. And liberal lenses would be so much more alliterative.
