Luckily, ME-TV still carries "Bewitched". It's a cable channel RCN (the cable company I have) carries. Sort of like TV Land.

7. Probably to make more room for shows that went off the air 2 years ago... |
|
I really hate the programming decisions of Nick-at-Nite and TV Land in the last few years...they really turned away from the classic programming that made me watch it in the first place. They really need to make a network that caters specifically to the great shows of the 50's, 60's and 70's

And that HORRID "Living in TV Land" show?? What's up with that??
I could understand if they shuffle the schedule... but there are SOME programs that should ALWAYS be on: Bewitched, I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver, Dick Van Dyke... just to name a few.

16. TV Land is doing the same thing that Game Show Network did |
|
They are slowly scrapping their classic programming for "new classics" and original programming, which is leaving behind a bunch of crap that I don't want to watch.
I remember back when I was in high school...which wasn't that long ago btw...I would rush home from school to watch those great old game shows (To Tell the Truth and What's My Line came on at 3pm) now aside from the occasional Family Feud and Match Game (which I do enjoy) you can't find any old game shows on that network, and I refuse to watch the new crap out of protest. You actually have to stay up to 3:30am to see 1 classic black and white game show a day (and yes I will do that on occasion). They used to have a 3 hour block of the black and white shows every Sunday night.
Are we really alone here on wanting to watch some quality old television? I don't know what it is about them but those old shows are strangely comforting to me

22. Do you really watch these shows over and over? |
|
I'm of an age where I watched some of these shows first time around. I could catch them a second time but after that, they're boring. How many times can you watch the same shows? I have to believe that the viewership of these shows drop after they've been shown twice. :hide:

but I hate watching reruns of shows where the entire cast is dead. It's a bit creepy.
