What brand of shoes do you wear?
Right now, I've got a pair of Lugz. I just got them last week. They are quite comfortable.

1. New Balance usually
since they make comfy vegan shoes in the US. I have some NoSweat shoes but I don't like them quite so much.

5. I didn't take the Lugz for style.
I just put them on in the store, and I found them to be nice and comfortable.

Keens and crocs for me too! Plus low-top converse allstars.
I was at the zoo yesterday and was amazing by the number of women clip-clopping around in the most uncomfortable looking high-heeled sandals. Their poor feet looked all red and squished, not at all attractive. If I'm going to be enduring 90+ degree heat and hours of standing/walking at the zoo, I sure as hell am going to have comfortable shoes.

9. Doc Martens.
I've got a pair of black matte high-top boots, and a pair of brown low quarters. I love them. Very comfortable, and nearly indestructible.

I've had my boots for eight years now, and they're still going strong. I haven't even had to have them re-soled.

13. Next time I need to get shoes, I should look into getting some Docs.
I'll probably have to break out the leather kit again, (saddle soap, boot black, polishes, and rags)) so I can take care of them and keep them looking halfway decent.

14. You'll love them.
In the eight years I've had them, I've only had to saddle-soap and leather-dye my boots twice, and they still look good. Worn, but good.

17. It was very nearly a religious experience
when I tried on my first pair of Dr. Martens and found that the weird British sizes *actually fit* - I knew I should've been born a crooked-toothed brit.

I bet they were kind of pricey! I think the most I splurged on shoes were for some Jimmy Choos, but they were one sale!

24. Oh. My. God.
They weren't pricey, exactly. They were a belated birthday gift, so they only cost me for insurance + shipping. But, I admit, I have a thing for designer shoes. A thing I don't indulge too often.
