Thursday was the last day of school here. My darling daughter chose that particular day to get in trouble at school. Now she's supposed to get a citation. We waited at the school for two hours for the police to get there but finally had to leave because my youngest was going to be home from school and I had to be there, so the officer was supposed to come to the house to do it.

He never showed. Friday morning he called while I was doing the chauffeur bit and driving hither and yon. So I cut the errands short and went home to wait for him.

Again, no show. He called and apologized and said he'd be here first thing this morning, at 9 a.m. It's 9:37 and still....

Nothing.

DAMN it.

1. What did she do that requires the cops to get involved?

Surely it wasn't that serious was it? Was it just an over zealous principle?

She's got it coming...she went to school after she'd been drinking and she was drunk. Inebriated. Bombed. Blitzed. Three sheets to the wind.

I guess being a parent really is a tough job. I hope she sees the error of her ways.

I just wish this cop would hurry up and Get here, already. She needs to have the living daylights scared out of her...beyond what I can do. Where's a cop when you really Want one?
