We had a big family reunion on Sunday:
We drove from Lincoln Park, Mi. Friday and got to Paris Landing, Tennessee in 11 hours at about 7:30 pm. After we checked into the motel, we visited with my husband Harold's brother, Noah and his wife, Kathy. While we were there, Harold's brother, Jim and his girlfriend, Naomi arrived. They had also driven from Michigan.

The next day we all drove out to the cemetary to place flowers on the family graves. After that we went to a restaurant at Paris Landing where the rest of the family had gathered and had dinner. Then we all drove out to a cousin's house for a bon fire. Family had arrived from Michigan, Illinois, and other parts of Tennessee.

Sunday was the big BBQ. It got started at 1:00pm and went on until after dark. Saw family we had not seen in many years and met new wives, husbands, and babies. It was 90 degrees but we all had a great time.

Aunt Elizabeth:

Cousin Frank, Aunt Polly, cousin Ronnie, and brother-in-law Jerry

2. Nice pics!
I think you have enough folks there to stock a smallish town!

A nice progressive one, too!

Thanks for sharing.....:hi:

3. There were about 75 of us.
We are a mixed bunch-- Scottish, Irish, English, French, and Greek.

4. Looks like a great time
was had by all. What a special day. :-)

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures! :hi:

I'm glad you had the opportunity to do this! My family hasn't had one in about 25 years, and so many have died since then.

7. It's not too far from Fort Campbell.
There's a lot of retired military in the area.
