Suppose you notice that a coworker's outfit has, unbeknownst to that coworker, become rumpled in such a way as to be unintentionally--and possibly embarrassingly--revealing. How does one proceed?
In a thread last week it was generally agreed that a male should never comment on a female coworker's appearance. But let's suppose further that, upon realizing that her outfit is amiss, she determines that there's no way that her male coworker could not have noticed. His silence thereby implicates him.
What's the proper etiquette? If it were a male coworker, I suspect that a comment along the lines of "Hey Pete--barndoor" would suffice. But what do you do when Susie's decolletage has accidentally become non-workplace-friendly?
Inquiring minds want to know!

1. How about getting one of her girlfriends to step in...... |
|
While you discreetly disappear?
Of course, you could always point it out to her yourself....
I have done that with men who needed to get zipped.....
The important thing is that the person gets told....
I rather don't think it matters by whom!

2. If it's done discreetly, it doesn't matter whether or not |

it's a male or female telling the other person. I for one would appreciate it as long as no one made any snide comments... :D I'd go up discreetly to the other person and make a gesture indicating "Check here". No need to make a big deal about it. :D
