BERLIN - The popular techno music Love Parade in Berlin is being revived this summer after having been cancelled for the past two years, organisers said Tuesday.
About 1 million people are expected to take part in the "Electronic Dance Music" extravaganza in downtown Berlin on July 15, the organisers said.
Berlin's last Love Parade was held in 2003. Insufficient funding, disputes over who should pay for the post-parade clean-up and damage to the city's central Tiergarten park prevented the event from taking over the last two years.
Among DJs expected to take part are Paul van Dyk and Louis Osbourne, the son of Britain's Ozzy Osbourne, said organisers.

Election year and the "party mayor" running for re-elections seems to make a few things easier after all. This summer may turn out to become interesting.
