Anyone watching the spelling bee on ABC this Thursday?

My daughter and I probably will. Sounds like a fun time for her and I don't have to worry about what she will see.

If she can spell a few new words I'll be quite happy!

3. Spelling bees are cool

My one claim to fame is nearly winning the state title in the 8th grade. I first won the class bee, then the school spelling bee, then some regional one. I can't remember what I misspelled now but I was very upset at the time because I wanted to win, dammit!! LOL.
The spelling bee was shown on public television. I think three people saw it.

Never on such a big level but I was pretty good when I was ten.

5. "Akeela and the Bee" is a wonderful movie

that I just saw yesterday. It totally sparked my interest and now I will definitley be watching on Wed. night.

9. I wanted to take my daughter to the movie

but it's never shown up in my area.

Guess I'll wait for dvd.
