Is there a DU glossary somewhere?

I'm still relatively new to DU and I'm working on some of the jargon here; is there a glossary somewhere?

Here are some particular bits of jargon that still throw me:

"Tweety": seems to be a talking head of some sort. Matthews? Russert?

"*": seems to be either George W. Bush or the entire administration (which may just be my UNIX-addled brain assuming a * is a glob)

"Pickles": Sometimes seems to be Laura Bush, sometimes Mary Cheney, sometimes that ugly mutt Barney

"KKK": I'm pretty sure is Karl Rove, but not totally sure

Any help to a relative n00b would be appreciated

Pickles is Laura Bush
If by KKK you mean KKKarl, then yes, that's Karl Rove.

it'd be nice if there was such a thing as I feel silly sometimes not knowing the lingo. But then again, I can understand old timer's possibly wanting us to 'earn' and 'learn' our way here. :shrug:

In answer to your questions:

Tweety is Matthews, from when he had that really bottle-blond hair

* is Boosh; Garry Trudeau depicts him as an * in "Doonesbury"

Pickles is Laura. Supposedly that's *'s pet name for her.

KKKarl is, well, KKKarl.

edit: "Donnesbury" would be, like, "No comic strip is an Iland, intire of it selfe..." :-)

4. I thought we were to blame for "Pickles"...

...back before Laura was propped up in front of the media all the time. Pickles was Buddy's wife on Mary Tyler Moore, who we never saw, IIRC. :shrug:
