I just spent the past 5 days in Buffalo visiting friends. It was an epic trip that would be exciting to nobody but me, so I'll spare you the details.

My weekend was relatively anti-climatic, but yesterday was a drunken pool fest at my house. I bring you two quotes...

Stepdad (after moving my aunt's car): It's like an immigrant's car or something. Why is everything covered in towels?!?!

I spent the weekend lazing around when I should have been working, so I'm paying the price and working now. :(

7. Funny story about working.

I took today off as a vacation day, so I made my reservation to fly back tonight.

But while I was in Buffalo I entirely forgot that I took off today. I thought I had to work. My flight was for 7:30, so like a fool I thought I was flying out at 7:30am!

I've done that. I fly home and go straight to the office. But when I got to the airport they had no 7:30am flight and didn't have any reservation for me on any morning flight. I was a bit freaked out. So I called my office and told them there was a problem with my reservation and I'd be missing work today.

(My boss won't remember that I took today as a vacation day either, so now I'll be in trouble for missing a day of work. But that will be another adventure.)

I had to turn around and go back to my friends' house. By the time I got back I got to enjoy another half day of unexpected vacation, and then trek back to the airport again.

The up-shot is that I am a dolt after 5 late nights with very little sleep. :P
Tomorrow I go back to work and try to be intelligent again.

No need to clean house. My cats are amazingly loyal guards, and my super is awesome at taking care of my cats. No dishonorable, traitorous bastards need to be dealt with here.
