On the road 2 weeks, a stint with homelessness, and now I'm back

Sporadically back, that is. What'd I miss?

I'm temp living at a senior complex...and they are vicious. Kill me before I end up in one of those places.

Lived out of our car for two weeks because VISTA has the inability, nor the desire to find housing for it's volunteers. Wasted over $1000 staying at shit hotels til we finally got the place we're in. Of course, there is no furniture, cept a bed we picked up for $20 bucks at a yard sale. Went to TriCAP to use their phone and find out about homeless assitance and everyone in the office was bawling. Seems that one of their staff got killed over the weekend and they had just heard about it 5 minutes before we walked in. Surreal.

And my job is to help people get services in the area I live in. Can't even get any for myself. Good thing I am totally crazy, otherwise I would be totally crazy.

I missed my DU connection. Sucks getting news from TV. Won't be able to follow threads too frequently, so PM me if anything important happened that I need to know.
