A question about avatar mojo

My avatar image is cursed:

I had a Leafs avatar and they missed the playoffs.

For March Madness the last 2 years, I put up a Jayhawks avatar and they lost in the first round both times.

Last year the Blue Jays got off to a hot start, but as soon as I changed to a Jays avatar, they started losing.

A couple of years back I had an A.C. Milan avatar, and they blew a 3 goal halftime lead to lose the Champion's League final.

So does anybody think I can provoke a losing streak for the Yankees by switching to a Yankees avatar, or am I just playing with fire here?

Before long they are going to have to recruit the grounds crew to field a full team. Just to be safe, whatever you do, don't switch to a Mets avatar :P

so further jinxing is still in order.

I wouldn't dream of damaging the Mets though. They're my favorite NL team. They're gonna come to town in a couple of weeks...hope to catch 'em.

Tigers beat 'em 7-6.
