I say Aye. If you have a predilection for such a thing. I myself am inquiring upon that path, but I am doing it for purely financial reasons.

I'd say apply for OCS (if you meet the requirements) rather than enlisting (the pay is better, and there's less humiliation involved). If you DON"T have a four-year degree, you should consider seeing if you qualify for Navy nuclear field A school (you're likely to end up on a submarine, and it's a six-year commitment, but you should ace the ASVAB no problem, and it's automatic promotion to E-5 on completion), or a similar Air Force program (Army and USMC I'd advise against, unless you have some odd desire to become cannon fodder).
