3. Depends....
On whether or not I'm in the dream.

And, since no one's telling, I vote for football.

11. Good Call
I think I'd rather to someone recount their dreams, which is pretty damned stultifying. No, come to think of, I'd rather set myself on fire than listen to either.

8. Heh...I tend to avoid weddings...
I'm happy for 'em and all, but...to sit there while everyone gets all weepy.

Then I get weepy...and....

It's not pretty.

7. What, Wyatt's beatbox high-hat tape loops don't do it for you?
That album is lame.

9. It's an aberration.
No wonder I found it in the dollar bin back in high school - a half hour of him scatting over sound effects? Ick. One of those albums you listen to once, hoping to hear something happen, and it never does, so then you feel all pissed off about having spent money on such nothingness. I don't know Brian Eno gets repeat customers. either.

18. Yep--ambient 1, except for the first track (with Wyatt on keys!) blows
That was my first Eno purchase ever. Then I got all the good pop stuff.

15. I vote Other! But it's not there!
This is the worst: Someone asks "Did you see (fill in the show) on TV last night? I reply, "No, I don't watch that show". Then they proceed to tell me the entire episode in excruciating detail! I don't watch that show!! I don't know those characters! I don't care!! Sheesh!

20.  my roomie waxing philosophical on how she's changing her syllabus
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 03:40 PM by FarceOfNature
this semester :eyes: I mean, COME ON I don't freakin' care that you're moving sexuality unit from week 6 to 8 because you're not sure if it should precede familial structure and kinship unit. Grrr didn't my noncommittal "uh huhs" and "mmms" as I was mindlessly playing spider solitaire tip you off??!! I feel bad for my boyfriend when he has to go out and drink with us, a bunch of grad students who are generally by nature anxiety ridden and uber-sensitive...I initiated a penalty system where one must drink for 3 seconds if academia-related discussion is instigated when alcohol is present...ESPECIALLY departmental politics!
