5. I could die from the cute
I like the one where she's carrying the pup in her mouth, and the pup is swinging his paws around like "What the hell is happening here?!"

6. What About The Momma Cat
Do you think she is using those puppies as a substitute for her own, because she can't deal with the trauma of her loss or is she just incredibly generous. Or am I overthinking it? Yeah, probably the third.

7. My cat took care of my old dog in her last years
It was the sweetest thing. Rosie, my old dog who died in 1998, was about 10 when I got Miranda, who was a tiny kitten. At first, Rosie treated Miranda like she was her baby, but Rosie started going blind from cataracts a year later. When that happened, Miranda started following her everywhere, and would lead her around. If Rosie was about to bump into furniture, Miranda would jump right in front of her to keep her from getting hurt.

Miranda is now 10, and I have a dog named Katie who is 8. They get along pretty well, too.

13. I said awww, then I got a little pissed off...
didja catch the bit about how the cocker spaniel 'has to be' chained up so she won't go to a 'doggie singles bar' or somesuch? Uh...how about getting her fixed and taking her off the chain? I'd like to slap that woman upside the head and take her dogs and cats to the vet for a quick fixin'. :-)

but the animals are all adorable and innocent!

14. Yes, I was put off by the deplorable conditions
Miss Kitty should have had a better place, and the cocker deserved a spaying, and a nice "inside" life..Some people should not have pets:(

15. I think this is a class issue. I don't think the owner has lots of money
from seeing the video I'd have to say her world is probably a bit different than yours.

19. Although, they look like farm people, and this is typical. My family
came from "farm stock" and typically had tons of litters of dogs and cats running around... with the only vet care being for sick animals. They were very humane with their animals, getting them treated when ill... but never a border collie or German shepherd was every spayed or neutered. :hi:

16. A heartwarming story, thanks!

And yeah, the fact that the owner has an un-spayed cat and a dog popping out babies was a bit of a bummer, but I'll bet that due to the publicity created by this news spot she received a lot of offers by now to have them "fixed," which is probably something she couldn't afford otherwise. Hopefully all the excess offers/donations can be combined into a free spay/neuter program at her local HS.

But yeah, anyway... I'm not going to let that detract from the "awww' factor and the important life lessons it illustrates so well.

Yaaaay Ms. Kitty!

:applause:
