... OMG! Is that for REAL? Does she sound like that ALL the time, or has she been ill? Is she recovering from some sort of surgery on her vocal cords?
It's painful to listen to her... hearing her speak makes ME want to continually clear my OWN throat.

20. Really! I doubt you will be able to say that -- |
|
emphysema and possibly carcinoma ruin the lung sacs and eventually, you sound VERY different. Eventually, you may not make any sound at all. Sorry to burst your bubble. Stop smoking now while you still have a voice and a chance. Read it and weep here: http://www.lung.ca/diseases-maladies/a-z/emphysema-emphyseme/index_e.phpIn peace, Radio_Lady

4. I can tolerate her voice more than Susan Estrichs , though, |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 07:39 AM by jonnyblitz
for some reason. I have to turn the channel (it's usually FOX that she is on anyway) whenever Estrich starts talking. :scared:

I posted a simliar thread a couple weeks ago, when I first saw her show, and her voice was so raspy. Then I was wondering, why in the world she got her job as a newscaster, when her voice, is for shit, and then my bud Tom said, maybe its because of something "else" she was smoking.....:)

6. When her show used to be on right after Countdown, |
|
hubby would always mimic her, "Hi, Keith... Tonight we're talking about Natalee Holloway AGAIN..." bit. He sounded like Lucille Ball in her later years.... :P I think she's a heavy smoker with an already-irritating voice. :)
