Paramount says it'll be releasing the increasingly wacky, post-Who-Killed-Laura-Palmer season along with creator David Lynch's slightly more coherent season one (which had been previously available a few years ago) together in one package, sometime later this year. Lynch is involved in the project, and it'll contain some new, original features.

Fuck yes!

16. Hell no
I just found the post now. I recently re-watched Fire Walk With Me and have had a serious hankering to re-visit the show. Twin Peaks is a work of true genius, although it is definitely not for all tastes. I can't wait to get my hands on that set. Thanks!

2. I'll watch it... I was too young to get it first time around.
I knew back then that it SHOULD be interesting, but I couldn't understand why because I just didn't have enough of the cultural knowledge yet.

15. Season 2 wasn't as good
the network forced Lynch to solve the Laura Palmer mystery way too soon. It killed the show.

18. Yeah, Lynch wanted to leave it unsolved for the whole series I think.
Would have been better if Lynch had more creative control, but I still love it.

17. Great, I need a refresher course
Fire Walk With Me was the last thing I watched. That just left me confused.

And I just hooked up a new TV with my computer jacked in via S-Video and a DVD player, so the VCR went into storage along with all the home-taped Twin Peak episodes.

20. I have both seasons on my hard drive...
But the second season is medium quality TV rips. I'm dying for a dvd release of the whole thing.
