Thats it...I am SHAVING MY HEAD! Opinions?

So its been constantly hot around here for the past week, and the humidity is out of control. I have pretty short hair, but I wanna take the rest of it off. I have a well shaped head from what I can see, and I love buzzing my hair short. So why not take the next step? Still, its pretty nerve wracking making the decision.

So I wanted to open the floor: what do you guys think about shaved heads? Have you done it? How does it feel? Is it stylish, or does your head just look like a penis?

Lol..I hope I can pull it off. I'm not skinny or anything, so I shouldn't look sickly. I'll let you know how it turns out.

(and you won't regret shaving your head, TK421) and I was asked to shave my goatee in order to have a spot as a secret service agent in Spy Kids II (I'd brought my daughter to set to be an extra), and I declined as well.

production ) called "The Big Helium Dog Letter". It was about cancer patients who were made to watch some movie that was supposed to cure cancer, or some shit like that...but either way, it never made it to the screen ( as far as I know ).

Didn't work for me. I have a large head (I need a roomy braincase), just didn't look good.

I find shaved heads rather too vain actually.

Seriously do it. I was balding and it was really starting to look bad, but where I had hair it was thick and black. I'd get all hot and sweating from my head. So I buzzed it off with my beard trimmer. I doubt I'll go back (in fact I need to redo it soon). It's easy. You can do it yourself (or better yet with just another person helping with the back.

It's comfortable, and if it gets cold you throw on a hat. Otherwise it breathes it's easy, it's less hot...

Plus I think it looks better on me at least, and my wife, while at first thinking it would look funny, actually prefers it. She thinks I look sexier.

So do it. Definately do it. If you dont' like it, it'll grow back.

I have no idea how, but we're doing it. I can't believe that it's been a year. Chavez only has another year left. I'm trying to keep body and soul together. I haven't been making happiness a priority. Which sounds pretty basic but I've been too focused of paying the bills. It's hard not to get worn down.

I don't think that most shaved heads look bad at all--although, face it, some really DO :puke:--but they just don't make me sweat. :P

So I just shaved my head, and I have to say..I LOVE IT! Its not only refreshing, but I look awesome. I visited both my mom and my gf who works at the mall, and they both were awed. They both loved it.

I'm not a bad looking guy, and I get an occasional flirtacious look. But 10 minutes at the mall...Oh man, I was getting looks.. not just flirting, but "I want to rip off your clothes" looks. Its amazing. I passed by EB games...the girl who works there gets hit on by so many geeks, that she never really conversates with costumers. Was she ever hitting on me, though.

Best decision ever. YOU'VE GOT TO TRY IT!

It's very easy, and a basic account (which is more than sufficient unless you're planning on uploading like 200 pics) is free.

Upload your pic to "My Pictures" or whatever on your computer, and then log into photobucket. You'll see that you are able to browse for pics to upload. Then, when the pic is in photobucket, just copy and paste the URL address you find in the first field below the pic into your message here on DU. You don't need HTML coding or anything--just the URL, and the pic will automatically show.
