ust bitten on the back of the head by beetle, not carpenter ant after all!
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 10:13 PM by Whoa_Nelly
Can't figure where the fuck it came from. Felt something on my hair, reachd back to smash and remove whatever the hell was on me, and the little fucker bit me! Of course, it's dead now, but....OUCH! It's a hurtful bite! I put rubbing alcohol on it right away and then Bactine, and am now icing it...feels bruised.

Anyone here ever been bitten by one of these?

See post #5...found out it was a Corn Flea Beetle...sorry for the setting off the Lounge Alarm System (LAS).

 to all! :loveya:

5. On closer look with a SUPER magnifying lens
can now see it wasn't a carpenter ant head, but some small black beetle...still hurts, but somehow knowing it's just a beetle, makes me feel a little bit better.

Damn! The ol' eyes can't see too well even with the store bought reading specs! However, this little guy was pretty tiny...had thought it was the head of a carpenter ant.

Here's a pic of what bit me. It's called a Corn Flea Beetle:

Will PM you re: negotiations :hi:

2. Yep..in an awful spot too
I was out walking and delivering newspapers and felt this awful pinching bite on my boob. I had no place to go to privately check it out and it hurt terribly. I kept itching discreetly and kinda rubbing it which must have been what killed it. Needless to say when I got home I immediately checked and found the head still stuck in me with the body separated and squished.

Left the biggest welt I ever saw.

Oh..I learned those little fuckers fall out of trees.

4. One recently took a tumble from a tree right down my shirt
and onto my boob, too. I wasn't shy about digging that sucker out of my cleavage.
