4. Yes, but plan to watch it twice.
I've only seen it the once, but between the 15 people who watched it tonight, we figured it out, mostly.

6. Even Matt Damon didn't annoy me
and there was none of that trite BS in almost all movies these days, no romantic subplot for the ladies, etc.

very good, though I'm surprised it didn't take more knocks for portraying the "terrorists" "sympathetically"

7. Convoluted has a negative connotation to it. The Plot

just like the Middle East, is woven like a rope, and left to the viewer to diagnose.

Jeez..a movie that makes one think !

8. It was great. I was amazed that they actually addressed the Madrassas.
I just wish they'd explained a little more what they were and how they are so prolific in the Middle East for people that don't "get it".

3. Great film, but plot's a little convoluted
Of course the reality it's portraying is convoluted as well, as should be said.

11. An excellent movie, many people didn't get it.
I had some trouble with it myself. There was a great deal of ambiguity in the movie, at times it was hard to tell who was wearing the black hats and who was wearing the white hats.
For instance, Matt Damon's character appearing on that CNBC clone. I didn't realize the significance of it until a family member, who used to work at an energy market consulting firm, explained to me what was going on.
When I first saw that movie a number of people came out of it scratching their heads.

and re-watch it again. I really didn't get it the first time around.
