My phone service has been out two days but....

...my dsl internet connection through the phone line has been working fine :shrug: Working better than the phone company getting my service restored actually.

:hi: You are correct. The glass is always half full. My cell phone service is also bad, on my property that is. I can walk out to the street in front of my house and get great service. We're actually using FRS walkie-talkies from my mom's house (she lives on my property) to ours for now in case either of us has an emergency.

3. That's strange. My phone service has been out

and then back on and then out again and now back on. This started on Thursday. I called the phone company and was told that they could not send anyone out until Monday. It is working right now, but I don't know for how long.

4. Just got it back

One guy came out and actually had to spend a couple of hours up and down the street working on it and finally running a new cable to the house. The phone system most of our nation has is so 1950's hardware and technology. These monopoly phone companies just refuse to advance and move ahead with more reliable and more efficient technology. Their rates seem to be the only thing that ever changes.
