Need advice: Leaving for Germany on Tuesday, passports have
been mailed (on July 5, Priority Mail), but still haven't arrived?!

Feds refuse to gove a tracking number (kind of understandable, I suppose).

I'm a nervous wreck. Am I as helpless about this as I feel?!

Hubby has one, but BAL the younger and I don't. HELP!

2. I had a friend to whom this happened
Apparently, mail does move (but is not delivered) on Sundays. I will keep all crossables crossed for you that they arrive today or Monday, or Tuesday before you have to leave (unless your flight is really early?)

5. Thanks, we're leaving late Tuesday evening so
we have just a bit more wiggle room.

3. A call to your closest congress-critter would be well-advised.

and well, he KNOWS me, but not as a friend!

And McCain; I did thank him for voting my way on the stem-cell funding, so maybe...

Living in a solid red area SUCKS. Ugh.

6. I'll keep my fingers crossed
I hope they'll make it in time. Locally we have an 2-hours emergency service for temporary passports, I don't know if there's anything like it in the US.

Greetings from Berlin :hi:

7. Isn't priority mail supposed to deliver in two days?
And Thursday, Friday, Saturday is already three. :scared: for you. Mine came through, but I very much wished I had taken care of it months, if not years in advance.
