1. Well I freecycle
I recycle plastics etc. We don't have a recycle program where I live now, used to have an excellent one where I used to live in Ontario Canada.

Blue boxes for papers, tin cans, glass etc.

We do compost.

2. Yes
We generate a lot more recycling than garbage. I really need to call the county and request a second recycling can, ours is always full before pickup (our recycling gets picked up every other week, alternating with the compostable green waste. Trash is every week.)

I try to buy used things and donate them for re-use when I'm done as well. There's a lot more to recycling than newspapers and pop cans.

3. Yes.
The council collects paper, plastic bottles, cans, and compostable stuff.

Also take plastic shopping bags and glass bottles (of which there are a fair few) to the local recycling place.

Anyway we can cheer up work for you? :hi:

5. I'm stuck here until 9:30. The show doesn't start until 8:00.
You're doing a fine enough job of cheering me up, though. The day is dragging along is all. :toast:

6. Yes, and just recently we started being able to recycle all
kinds of plastc, even if it doesn't have a "1" or "2" on the bottom. We can mix all of our paper -- all kinds. We're going to start having to put the bin out every week now.

7. Yes
I don't understand why everyone doesn't.

I recycle a LOT more than I trash. I trash less than a kitchen garbage can a month.

9. My lame county charges twice as much to recyle as my reg garbage
bill which is ridiclous as it is as 50.00 a month...

I take papers and plastics to the high school bins behind my house.

11. Everything we can.

We live out in the boonies so we have to drop it at the local recycling center in the next town on our way in. No curbside pick up out here!

Can, plastic, glass, plastic bags. All compostables go in a large can outside for our garden. And I have tons of old butter bowls and yogurt cups that we reuse over and over.

I don't know why everyone doesn't. It isn't that difficult and it makes you feel better that you're doing something to help.

It feels good knowing it's not going into a
landfill.

13. I do. the city of Phoenix makes it easy. However when I move next
week it may get more difficult.

but I'll recycle anyway. the good news is I can recycle lots of it right into the compost pile. glass and cans may be more challenging
