19. Grilling is usually high heat and quick, BBQ is low heat and slow. |

Vinegar Based BBQ Sauce Original recipe yield: 1 1/4 cups. Prep Time:5 MinutesReady In:8 Hours 5 MinutesServings:10 (change)
INGREDIENTS: 1 cup cider vinegar 1 tablespoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon brown sugar
DIRECTIONS: In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper flakes and brown sugar. Mix well and allow ingredients to mesh for about 4 to 8 hours before using.

Seitan is not as good as tofu, but meat eaters may like it better. Some vegetarians I know won't eat it because it feels too much like meat. Kind of a flank steak feel, with a better texture than tofu. Tofu is a cheese, seitan's more of a meat-style food. It's a wheat gluten product. You see it a lot in Chinese vegetarian cooking.

and then pick the meat off the bones...usually slow cook all night...these things can turn into week-end campovers...with 100's of people showing up...cooking is done in shifts and sometimes so is the party....:party:
