1. I was out briefly...
But my date wasn't feeling well so she went home, as did I.

So now I'm trying to pick out a movie to watch.

2. Well........I never go out on a Saturday night!
My husband and I rarely go out anytime at night........

And Saturday is crazy.......

Everything is crowded, and we hate crowds!

I prefer to go out when there aren't too many people around....

That's why I'm here tonight!

:hi:

4. I know that one
I got into that rut when I was trapped in a loveless relationship for four years.

Not to say that you are!!! hahahaha. Only, I was only 23 when it all started going horribly wrong - I should've realized that there was something horribly wrong if my 24-year old partner never wanted to do ANYTHING. Now, at 27, I am a real partier! Just not tonight. I'm "working on other projects" - namely a short paper for my class, then I'm watching Donnie Darko, finally!! FINALLY!

:hi:

are my party night with my grad school friends and Friday nights are poker nights with same friends. Actually, those are my only friends. But I'm getting to old to handle more than two late nights a week! :)

Indeed.

I don't look 27, either. I get carded every. fucking. time. :eyes:

At least as an unmarried man you get to be a "bachelor". I am wearing my "spinster" badge proudly, but no one else is. :looking around:

My aunt says you're an old maid at 27. :woohoo:

"Aren't most of your friends married by now?"

"Well mom, if most of my friends jumped off a bridge, should I jump too?"

Damn, that was nice to spring that back on her. Even she had to laugh.

I'm an only child; no grandchild pressure or anything.

26. I'm an only child, too
But my parents don't care about grandchildren. Well, they'd like them if they had them, but they also think I am too young to get married, but less have kids. My dad would be PISSED if I announced I was getting married. It's refreshing. My mom couldn't care less, so long as I am happy.

I guess they care, but it's not like the hound me about it.

Sometimes I think I'm too selfish for marriage right now. I did like being in a relationship though.

25. Unwinding from a project
I just completed edit and design for an 8-page newsletter. Phewww! I've been procrastinating this project for quite a while (beginning of June).

I have been busy though, vacationing and trying to get Clint Curtis elected as my congressman in Sept and Nov.

I don't see well to drive at night any more and I avoid going out. Single lady, 40, and too busy to be lonely. :hide:

29. Morning person here.
I get up early and go go go all day. We have a family business running a resort in a very popular tourist area so I have things to do, places to go and people to see 24/7, all year round. I go out to lunch every day so I'm not the least bit thrilled to go out to dinner, especially with crowds of people. I love movies, so I sneak away from work once or twice a week to catch a matinee, also something I don't care to do at night. I used to love to read books, but since my Lasik surgery, I don't read so well in artificial light, so I have joined a books on tape club and I do my "reading" in the car while driving to work and back every day. So by the time I finally get home to my boat in the evening, all I want to do is look at the ocean and tinker on the computer.

Thanks for asking. :)
