11. Ginelli was a damn
savage, rampaging beast, in the book...On the commentary of Thinner, the director knew that, through a preview screening of the movie, the crowd didn't like it...

Spoilers....

When Ginelli died...he dies in the book, and when they did a preview of the movie, the crowd was pissed that Ginelli died, so they didn't say if he died, or lived...but gave the impression, that he lived. I was pissed, beyond belief when he died in the book...;)

7. It is going to show again . . .
. . . next Saturday, July 15, at 3:00 a.m., HOWEVER, after watching it they cut a lot of the good parts out. I would highly recommend that rent the DVD or tape.

9. Thanks, I'll do the DVD.
I didn't realize that a film had been made from the book.

13. No
Major motion picture that obviously did not do well.

However, for several reasons, it is still one of my faves! :)

16. I watched a bit of it.... The guy getting thinner had a great panicked
energy to his performance. I'd like to see it from start to finish. Might have to IMDB it and find out a bit more. I just saw another classic on TV that I never saw before... the Hotspot directed by D. Hopper. I will watch anything with Bill Sadler in it. Powers Booth, too.
