Keep your Phone Number as Secret as Your Email Address
Most people keep their email addy a closely guarded secret and give it only to friends and family, using a yahoo or hotmail address for the spammers.

Well, now you can do that with a phone number. Netzero has a new system where you can have people call a number and then you pick up the voicemail using the 'Net or check it over the phone.

Here's the URL:

http://www.privatephone.com/

Note: I haven't tried this yet but I will. Recently I've gotten calls on my cell from people I don't even know. Now I can use this number and not give my cell number to just anyone.

4. Good question
But so long as they are not sharing with with some ex husbands it might help a lot of people who have to pay to change a number so the breather-calls will stop.

Just sent link to someone who is having troublsome calls and has to change the number. This might be a way to protect the change.
