HOW MANY KITTENS IN THIS PHOTO?
The kits are pretty big, but the cat at the bottom is the mommy, Ringtail.

How many kittens do you see?

9. She is the most timid.
 I like your "wtf" crop. :7

It took her the longest to realize that that huge thing with the clicking wasn't going to come nearer or hurt her. The others got used to me faster.

And aren't they beautiful?

They are so damn lucky to have you feeding them!

Are you going to try and capture them?

So they can be fixed and gotten into good homes?

16. Yes, I'll trap them, have them fixed, but then turn them loose. They are
already wild. In order to socialize them, you have to start handling them at 1-2 weeks.

I have one, maybe two, pregnant queens right now. One's in the house; one I'll have to trap. I'll be trying to socialize those ones. If I get them socialized and find them GOOD homes (the GOOD is the hard part), I won't have to spend the $$$ to get them fixed.

www.katzenengel.org is online, but the site is only in the early stages, and i don't yet know if i will solicit funds.

Good for you! YOu are taking on a lot of responsibility for these cats...

Instead of bitching/moaning about the situation, you are doing something very constructive!

My hat's off to you! :yourock:

be for awhile. He has a scan scheduled for Tues. because the cancer was more aggressive than the doctor wanted it to be. We'll go from there.

Licorice was rescued from a cabin up North ( a shed on the property) after Mama cat decided she didn't want to care for her. The woman who owns the cottage came back home with them and freecycled them to good homes. She had mats that were cut out, and has what looks like conjunctivitis. For now, I'm washing it out but she has a vet appt. tomorrow morning. She is the sweetest, most loving thing. We have her quarantined right now from the cat and dog...and she cried her little head off last night until I went in and slept with her. :)

See post # 9 for why that kitten stood aside. Also, she didn't care for the canned food, which all the others are eating. When she finally ate, she ate only dry.
