2. Carefull
You're gonna get people here in yelling at you because they love Rowling, and people in here who yell at you because they think her writing sucks.

It's one of those nights apparently...is it a full moon?

On a brighter note....I know you like birds....I saw my first Towhee feed off the birdfeeder outside my office window. Never seen a Towhee before. Then again I'm not much of a birder, but still...

3. FM is on the 11th, just for information. But, as I was wont to say for
ages... "close enough for government work!"

4. Was it the "Rufous-Sided" type
The "Brown" type, or one of the other types?

5. Eastern Towhee

At least that's what it looked like exactly, and supposeldy that's what is around here, though it's the first one I've seen.

6. They're good birds
(That would be the Rufous-Sided type. The towhees have undergone some revisions in the last few decades, and now it seems to be time for the grouse to get divvied up.)

7. I never knew how many birds were around here till we put the feeder up
Before the feeder I saw Robins, doves, house finches, chicakdees, sparrows, and wild turkeys.

Since the feeder though I've added Towhee, Red Winged Blackbird, Goldfinch, Blue Jay, regular Blackbird, and more.

Not to mention the groundhog I saw waddle up and shake the feeder to get seed out of it.

8. Oh cool!
I don't think I've ever seen a groundhog.

What are you feeding in the feeder?

9. Just some generic seed
Seed from the grocery store. Mixed stuff.

We have alot of mixed wildlife here, even though we're in the city. We've had tons of deer come through (Saw an 8 pointer about 5 feet from my window) in addition to the groundhogs, squirrels, chipmunks, mice....

Oh saw a wood duck. I know they're rare. Forgot about that one.
