Whoa, anyone feel that earthquake? |
|
We just had a little shaker here in my area of southern CA. I wonder if it is from a bigger one somewhere further away or a smaller one closer to us.

1. Nothing here in San Diego |
|
Looks like a 3.8 around Riverside about 30 minutes ago; I presume that's the one you're talking about.

5 km (3 miles) NNE (32°) from Lakeview, CA
I'm in Studio City (SFV), didn't feel it here.
on edit: Followed by a 1.7 magnitude microquake at 8:05 PM in the same vicinity of the 3.8.

4. Gee, my husband didn't even feel it! |

And he was just sitting outside on the deck.
I saw the same info you have. We're about eight miles from the center.

Actually, a little one like that is almost fun in a way. It's when they get bigger that you don't want any part of it.
I've been here two years and I've been in one, so I wouldn't worry about it.

You are going to be fine!
That one they're talking about is very small......you wouldn't have felt it unless you were sitting very quietly...
And then it might have felt like going over a bump in the road.......if that!
