To the person who invented air horns

This device was invented for small boaters. You've got to have some kind of a signaling device on a boat, but if you've got a 14-foot jonboat with a rope-start engine you probably don't even have a battery. The air horn lets small boaters obey the law without having to run up a huge bill and spend a ton of time working on the boat installing it--because on a river in nice weather and broad daylight, where small boaters spend most of their time on the water, you may never use the signaling device the whole time you own the boat.

It's dumbasses who paint themselves blue before going to football games that ruined it for the rest of us.

Used to sail a lot when I lived in MN. On foggy days, and getting stranded because the wind disappeared, having an air horn was absolutely necessary. It helped to get bring someone who could tow the sailboat back into dock.
