Are you now, or have you ever been, in a band?

1. I was lead singer of an extremely short-lived band.

We never even had a name, we were that short-lived. Seems like the first thing any band does is come up with a name. Not us.

We did some metal, some hard-rock and covers of Led Zep, Metallica, and The Doors. Not bad. But everybody was going in a different direction, and we collapsed very quickly.

I was thinking everybody in the whole world was in a band...or used to be. Maybe it's just the people I see all the time. Or maybe you just haven't found the right band to join yet!

13. Yeah, I've been in a few...

was in a metal band my freshman year of high school, then a pop-punk band my senior year -- Green Day covers and whatnot. Also a couple bands in college -- well, more like several incarnations of the same band -- sometimes we had a sax player, sometimes three guitarists, and so on, but always a guy named James on lead guitar and me on rhythm guitar and vocals.
Also played rhythm guitar in the metal band. Played bass in the pop-punk outfit.
I still jam with friends now and again, but nothing serious -- not that I was ever in anything serious.

I also do some acoustic shows, electronic stuff, and play bass or guitar as a stand in for a couple of friends' bands.

It's just a lot of fun; we're too old to think MTV or whoever is interested. Sadly, we don't have any shows booked right now, but that's ok.
