I'm always late on the picture threads, so....
The very latest, taken by friends of ours up from the madness of the city for a little country rr this weekend. Here I am saying goodbye, in front of our house, the shrubery needs tended to any volunteers?.

6. This is a bear that has been tied to a pendulum.
It is the brainchild of a discussion about the story, "The pit and the pendulum". Some said that that would be the worst way to die, others said that being eaten by a bear would be the worst way to die. This, undoubtedly, being a combination of the two, would suck indeed.

Your picture is cool... considering that there aren't any bears in it. :D

75. Not very. It's on a Singapore industrial/military port/base...
...and it's very well protected. We have a few Americans stationed in Singapore, and this serves
as their "base club" I suppose. It's actually quite nice. What you can't see from this picture is
the HUGE FREAKIN' pool, about 2 feet behind where I'm sitting, and the baseball/softball/soccer complex in front.
It's a very nice base club, just has a "funny" name.

54. We think she is all or part Louisiana Catahoula Leopard
We adopted her from a shelter in Los Angeles three years ago when she was eight weeks old. They called her an Australian Shepherd mix. No way is she even part Aus. Shepherd.

Our vet, who is from Lousiana said she looked like a Catahoula Leopard puppy. I never heard of them before.

She's a wonderful, gentle girl dog, and big - 90 lbs!

but since we don't know who her parents were (shelter puppy), we can't be sure. The "experts" on some Cat. Leopard sites say she is too big to be a purebred.

No matter. We love her. :-)

he's really helped keep the scar tissue from being a problem. I have almost 100% range of motion, which is rare after the types of surgeries I've had.

I try to do mostly medical type massage, helping injuries, helping people move better, do some relaxation but am glad to refer out people that want woowoo stuff since it's not my thing. Better than working strictly as a nurse, still get to help people feel and function better and no one dies on my.

was NOT going to let that shoulder freeze. I taught it who's the boss.

The guy who works on my shoulder is also an athletic trainer, so he understands injured joints.
