7. i didn't mean it like that

i mean that people try too hard to control every little aspect of their life, when truth is that we really have very little control over what happens in day to day life - no one can predict the future. all the fussing and fighting with ourselves and with others often times only exacerbates existing and potential problems and only makes things worse.

i'm not religious whatsoever but i believe the phrase goes something along the lines of "just let go and put yourself in god's hands"
