Could use some good thoughts for my parents...

My Mom is having a biopsy tomorrow to address an issue she's been having. My Dad is having surgery to deal with a blocked artery on Friday. So, kind of a crap week overall. I'm as hopeful as can be that everything will turn out okay, but some of the famous DU vibes/prayers/general niceness would be much appreciated right now. Thanks all...

19. Oh, thanks. Mostly, we just need the bad stuff to let up for a while.

No one is sick or injured or anything. But a lot of things are breaking, friends of the family are getting sick, etc. And my sister is getting married in a couple of weeks to a man nobody likes--it's just stress. But thanks for the kind thoughts.

And, I don't know if you knew this, but I did post in the lounge about it, my husband had a quadruple bypass a month ago and came sailing through every aspect of the surgery. I saw many, many folks who had stents placed, (which is what I am assuming your dad is having) and they were as good as new right off the bat.

He is having a cardiac catheterization procedure done... it's not supposed to be that complicated but he didn't want to have it done and I can tell he's more nervous than he's letting on. Thank you. :hug:

25. That is what my husband had prior to the surgery.

He was awake the entire time, they numbed the site and within 20 minutes he was wheeled back into where I was waiting. Absolute piece of cake. Tell him not to worry. The cardiologist who is doing his procedure has more than likely performed hundreds if not thousands. A Cath is very routine to them. (Not to us by any means)

My mom and my sisters will be there but I probably won't be able to get out of work, so I'm glad the worst part, waiting, will be over that quickly.

I ask the holy beings in the ten directions to bring healing peace to you and your family. To show you that you have more options than you think. To bring you together in ways known and unknown and to find the blessings in the details.

With help transforming what you're going through, here's a couple of things that work for me. Give up what you're going through to your favorite deity and ask to be filled with grace and love instead. Also, wrap yourself and your loved ones in gentle, purple flame, the transforming flame of St. Germain. Either wrap everyone at the same time or wrap yourself first and rest with the image, breathing normally before including others in the imaging. This brings healing beyond measure.
