Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Stalking Bob Uecker
From the files of "Too Strange for the Latest Breaking News Forum"



A woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a felony charge of stalking Hall of Fame announcer Bob Uecker.

An attorney for Ann Ladd, 45, entered the plea at a preliminary hearing in Milwaukee County Circuit Court. Ladd, of Prospect Heights, Ill., waived her right to give testimony at the hearing, said her lawyer, Steve Kohn.

The case was bound over for trial, the timing of which would be determined at a hearing on July 31. If convicted, Ladd could face up to 3 1/2 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

8. You know, in a twisted way, I can understand why people stalk
Many famous, or semi-famous people. But stalking Bob Uecker? I just don't get it:shrug:
