Jefferson Starship had some good songs, but "We Built This City" wasn't one of them: http://youtube.com/watch?v=4nxfHMRXn6k&search=Jefferson%20Starship

The worst part of this video was at about the minute and a half mark at the Lincoln Memorial and Lincoln comes to life and sings.

8. There was a contest with Starship and the Red Wings/Flyers Stanley Cup
back in the late 90s. Whichever team won the Stanley Cup would get a free concert from Starship in which they would perform "We Built this City".

I'm thinking that's ultimately why the Flyers were swept in 4 games
