What program plays .flv digital video? |
|
I managed to capture the Charlie Rose show featuring Robert F. Kennedy Jr discussing the stolen election in Ohio from my "temporary internet" file after watching it on Google video.
But it saved as an .flv file. What the heck is that? Do any programs play video via this code?

4. I use the Video Downloader extension with Firefox to capture .flv videos. |
|
You can get it HERE and HERE. If you use Opera as your browser, there is a Video Downloader "widget", available HERE.

It has a examination period of 45 days, and you can download it from their website.
Works well for a lot of stuff, but then it won't work for a lot of sources too. Have a lot of trouble with "You Tube." Even if I get the URL, it usually won't download.
For this Charlie Rose show, I had to dig through the "temporary internet" files to find the file. Again, sometimes it stores to the temp file and you can find it, and sometimes it doesn't.
You'd have to be a programmer / media whiz to know why, I think, and I'm totally NOT.
