A friend back in Wisconsin just emailed me this hideous - laughably stupid; even dumber than freepers laughably stupid - LTTE that appeared in her paper today. This is pure gold! Just pure gold!

Letter: Let’s summarize:

Liberals are wrong on flag burning, same-sex marriage, abortion rights, parental rights and Terri Schiavo.

Liberals are wrong on concealed carry, taxpayer protection legislation and mandatory sentences for sexual predators.

Liberals are wrong on Social Security reform, health care reform, global warming, Arctic drilling, nuclear energy, border control, illegal alien amnesty, and voter identification requirements.

Liberals are wrong to zealously grant the presumption of innocence to Guantanamo detainees, but not Rove, Libby, DeLay, Cheney, or our American soldiers.

Liberals are wrong to make Christian-bashing their new national sport, but demand tolerance of every abhorrent behavior or sacrilege.

Liberals are wrong to cry “foul” every time Gore, Kerry or one of their ilk fails to get elected.

Liberals are wrong to applaud the leaks of classified anti-terror programs like bank data collections and international wiretaps, but then demand prison time for exposing the partisan political shenanigans of Wilson and Plame.

Liberals are wrong to deride Bush for toppling Saddam when that was our official government policy for two years before Bush took office.

Liberals are wrong to call Bush a liar for repeating the claims that Clinton, Gore, Rockefeller, Kerry, Edwards and the Dems had been making for years (note: WMDs have now been found).

Liberals are wrong to demand we either “cut and run” or “cut and walk” in Iraq.

There, that should take care of responding to the 400-plus letters during the last 12 months by our local blatherskites.

The above list is by no means exhaustive, but merely the tip of a destructive ideological iceberg. Every week we are given another glimpse of their character, moral values and distorted worldview. So keep writing. The more we learn, the less likely it is the American people will entrust liberals with the governance of this nation.
