And as he is saying that, the first guy steps up and kicks him right between the legs. A move which clearly should be against the rules.

However, sometimes I've made the mistake of welcoming "newcomers" without first checking their profiles and it's turned out they've been at DU much longer than I have and they kindly point it out. heheheh.

That's happened way too many times to count. Some people just post less than others, that's all....

On the whole, though, I'm generally a very enthusiastic Welcomer, despite my negligence in checking user profiles. :D

Welcome newbies every chance you get regardless of how many posts. Many, many people have been here a lot longer than I have but they have a lot less posts. Post counts don't really mean much in my book. I post a lot of one word replies so sometimes my post count gets inflated really quickly.
Doesn't mean I've better or smarter or more of a Democrat. Just means I sometimes have more time to post than others.

Just welcome the newbies. They will appreciate it. :hi:
