4. War, earthquakes and famine

That's pretty much every moment in recorded history. If an omnipotent god wanted to clue us in, something more specific would be good, say "x years after the sea swallows and spits out the spice islands and the unconquered land" (see, I even made it sound all vauge and biblical.)

If we all get whipped up into a millenial frenzy everytime somebody picks a fight on that particular crazy-infested bit of real estate, we won't have time for much else.
