The new Pirates movie is a swashbuckling cinematic tour de force with monsters and gadgets and action and gratuitous violence and the perfect set up for a sequel (the next one will be released 25 May 2007.) Johnny Depp did himself proud.

I don't get why some of the critics are complaining that the plot was too complicated and hard to follow. Several people are searching for the "mcguffin" and they all have a different agenda. What's so hard about that? I mean, god forbid the audience actually has to THINK, you know!

The only question I have which I hope is answered in the next movie is what happened to the Dog who was carrying around the keys. The Natives were chasing him along the beach on the island and he was never seen again.

3. Shame! You didn't stay for the scene after the credits? |
|
I thought everyone knew to do that after the first one. Otherwise no one would have understood the undead monkey.

The dog shows up after the credits. He is now the chief/god.
