American leads Tour de France...this has to be killing the French... |
|
They are finally rid of Lance Armstrong, though by their lame attempts to tarnish his victories you wouldn't know it...and now his ex-teammate takes the lead and is now favored to win the Tour... I have to laugh!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/tdf2006/news/story?id=2517911

1. Good news indeed.....USA! |

Though I don't know about that favored to win part. This is the tour nobody seems to want to win, no single team has stepped up to the plate up to this point.

What the hell happened to Hincampie today? I thought he would be up there with Leipheimer and Landis. It doesn't look like Discovery knows how to work together without Lance. Kloden is going to be a force though. Team Mobile has been in control of the peloton a lot so he has good support and is not that far behind.
I doubt if anyone thought that Dessel was going to hold the yellow jersey for too long.
