"She's been cutting hair for decades." Good testament to quality service, |
|
or will I be the youngest person in the salon?
I asked a local mailing list for recommendations for a hair place (something that's between the big cheap chains and the expensive frou-frou salons), and one recommendation came with that bit of info.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? (I'm 30 and female, if that helps.)

1. Does she have references? You might want to see the |
|
styles she's generating before you decide. If you don't want a bouffant coiffure or 40s jelly roll, it's probably best to see things ahead of time. :P

2. Yeah...I got another recommendation on the list from people I know (my |
|
landlady and her partner), for a different salon, so at least I know what the finished product should look like. I'm leaning toward that salon for the name too: Hairy's Hair Bar. But I thought I'd bounce this one off the Lounge (especially because the former is likely to cost less).
