our cat needs your good lounge vibes

Arawn is elderly and has always had some health issues. We don't really know how old he is. We brought him home from the Humane Society as an adult 7 years ago. He has significant arthritis in his spine and hips. When we took him to the vet 3 weeks ago he was dehydrated and constipated. He was given fluids and cod liver oil and pain meds. Now he is unable to void his bladder. His kidneys may be failing. He's at the vets for catheterization and observation.

our other kitty is so confused. People are packing up and leaving, first the friend of Daughter #1 that stayed with us for about 5 months and now Daughter #1 is packing to move. Then Daughter #3 returned from her year in Germany, and now Arawn has gone somewhere. Ritz was a kitten when he came from the Humane Society the same day as Arawn

He's a beauty. I also have a black kitty of an unknown age. Arawn (lovely name, BTW) is getting the care he needs at the vet. I'll be hoping for a good outcome for him. Sometimes, they just need some supportive care and they bounce back.

I went through a similar experience with one of my guys, Darwin.
He's a 5 yr.old long haired black male cat. He pulled through.

Arawn is a very handsome cat. He looks exactly like Nemo, Darwin's
brother.

I hope he gets well soon. I'm sending a big hug to you and yours
at this difficult time.
