1. I think it used to be set between South Park and the Daily show |
|
anyway its days may be numbered as they have moved it-that tends to be death for a show because audiences tend to catch onto a show simply because their schedule allows for it. We'll see. I have found some of his stuff funny but most of it is simple easy laughs with material that was tired by the time we got to the 8th grade.

4. I don't find the whole "make-fun-of-everyone" type stand-up very clever. |
|
Sometimes he's funny, but for the most part I'm just "Meh."

I found some of his material to be very funny before he had a show. The problem is, he doesn't have enough material or enough of an act to make a show work, imho.

5. It's the reason Dave Chapelle left. |
|
Dave Chapelle made fun of racism and stereotypes. Unfortunately, there were a bunch of dumb white racists laughing for all the wrong reasons.
So Comedy Central replaced him with a guy using stereotypes to make fun of races, and the dumb white racist audience kept watching.

I got several laughs from the first season mainly because of the "I can't believe he actually said that" factor.
However, when I see the repeats, I don't find it anywhere near as funny as the first time through.
Contrast that to the Simpson's, Monty Python or even South Park. They manage to shock from time to time but overall the humor seems to hold up better through repeated viewings.

7. I watched it a couple of times and it was kind of that factor |
|
"I can't believe he actually said that" is so true about that show. But after a couple of shows it gets really old.

8. You don't live on the west coast |

His humor, (and I'm not talking about his over the top racist stuff) is extremely funny and extemely PAROCHIAL. If you didn't grow up out here, you won't find him funny. Period.
