Rant: why are skin conditions and flab so shameful to the general public?
Is there a personal ad that DOESN'T say "It's okay to have a belly" or "It really is fine if you have eczema"?

Of course not. Gotta be perfect looking.

And people wonder why nobody comes forward with AIDS either. People just want to "do it". Even I, despite my gaudy sense of humor, have standards...

1. To help smart and interesting people recognize the superficial ones
Think of it as an Asshole Filter. Conveniently enough, they are labelling themselves Assholes so you won't need to interact with them.

3. Thank god I'm married
I'm amazed at the deepening superficiality of Americans (can you describe superficiality as "deepening"?)

I'm happily married for nearly 23 years. I'm also a short, average looking, handicapped man.

If I were single I'd be spurned by all womanhood. There would be almost no place to look for companionship.

I don't know why I think about this. I'm married, and intend to stay that way, but it's disturbing that I am so undesirable to so many people, despite the fact that I'm an intelligent, kind, and talented person.

Let me say it again... Thank god* I'm married.

*"god" being a generic term for whatever led my wife to me.

12. I'm happy for you.

And I know how you feel.

While God has given me a life of eternal solitude, I have recognized the benefits that make up for it. And please refrain from any jokes regarding the right hand. Or the left one. That's not what I mean.

4. I would say "It's okay to have a belly."
I like guys with bellies. Not morbidly obese, but a little chubby will do.

6. MOVE TO MAINE.
Anyone who is not officially obese is considered "thin".

8. Because they're signs of moral decrepitude, moral failure, and laziness
and it's important to make sure that people know that the only proper way to judge people is on how they look.

Geez, you live in America. Not Europe. You should know this stuff.

And don't forget that small breasts, small penises, and lack of an erection are also wrong.

Sheesh. :eyes:

11. You're a good American, FuzzySlippers.
At least, assuming you keep your lawn green and mowed, and not brown and unmown like a communist or a drug addict.
