Austin Police Report That Flasher's Are EVERYWHERE!!11

Police say more and more Austinites are falling victim to indecent exposure when they go shopping or happen to just look outside their home window.

And if you don't report it, investigators say it could turn into another crime that would frighten any family.

"They're going to go wherever they feel comfortable," APD Sgt. Elizabeth Donegan said.

They're going into businesses where you shop and neighborhoods where you live.

"There is no place that you're not going to find an offender," Donegan said.

Police say more and more people are finding them outside their home window.

"We know within law enforcement that these offenders can become very dangerous and can become rapists," Donegan said.

We're talking about cases of indecent exposure.

Police say these are men that get worse with time.

"As they become, I think, more comfortable in what they're doing, and maybe it's not as exciting for them is when they escalate. It's not always but we are seeing a pattern in some rapists that that's where they start," Donegan said.

Austin police have started to map out the crime in hopes of preventing a rape.
