Hands up who likes a good Leatherman?
I have a "Blast", in "tactical black", just like the one pictured.

It has a knife, saw, pliers, wire strippers/cutters, file, a scissors, 4 screwdrivers, a bottle/can opener and a metric/imperial ruler.

Here's a "Surge", the model issued to FDNY and others:

And the cute but versatile "Juice":

1. I have the surge.
And I gave the "Juice" away to my groomsmen as one of their gifts. Most of them still have them and use them.

3. That's a great groomsman gift!
I, a non-smoker, have three monogrammed Zippo lighters I've received from three different grooms :eyes:

4. I prefer the Gerber multi-tools.
This is what I have the Gerber Legend 800. I have a leather man, as well. The Gerber is sturder and more comfortable in the hand.

5. My last multi-tool was a Gerber, but I lost it when the lanyard hole...
...snapped when I was climbing. I went back to look for it, but...

One nice thing about the Leatherman tools is their warranty: 25 years no-questions-asked replacement. I have a buddy who lost his because the lanyard hole came loose, so he mailed the lanyard hole to Leatherman and they sent him a whole new unit!
